Clouds over the valley from my morning run to the top of Spencer Butte. It was a rare cool day in Eugene for July. We’ve had a couple of them now, but we are about to enter a stretch of many days over 90, once again. I am dreaming of October . . . .

I was biking to work and crossing Amazon Creek near our house when a family of turkeys (also known as a “rafter” <thanks Google>) crossed the bridge in front of me. There’s a contrast in size here.
